A Pleasant Surprise to Finish the Year

This week I picked up a copy of The Years Best Fantasy and Horror 19th Annual Collection edited by Ellen Datlow, Kelly Link & Gavin J Grant.

Within Ellen Datlow's 2005 Summation of Horror she kindly gives mention to artists working in the small press whose work she found noteworthy for that year. And within that list that includes such luminaries of the field such as John Picacio, Jason Van Hollander, Allen K, and Kinuko Y Craft, I had the surprise of finding my own name.

Wow!

The Lost and the Damned: Artist Week-January 7th-12th

On Friday the 12th of January 2007 starting at 9:00 PM eastern time, Russell Dickerson and myself will be the featured talent in the chat room for Artist Week at The Lost and the Damned. Drop in here for the complete schedule and info.

My first book cover (circa 2004).

I've added a gallery for the first book that I did a cover for, Vampires of the Scarlet Order. I also created the interior illustrations.

Written by premier science fiction author David Lee Summers, this novel focuses on a group of vampires as they learn to adjust with the advantages and disadvanteges of human progress. An extremely fun read, it can be purchased through the publisher LBF Books, and I believe is going to be available through Barnes & Noble in the near future.
